This morning I came across this brilliant NPR story online about a man, John Marcotte spearheading a initiative to make divorce illegal in California as a satiric response to Prop 8.

If the state really wants to strengthen the “sanctity or marriage” then wouldn’t it make more sense to ban divorce than same-sex marriage?

At a rally recently led by Marcotte in the state’s capitol, Sacremento, a protest sign read “You too can vote to take away civil rights from someone.”

Sorry Twilight fans, the movie I am most highly anticipating this year is Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox. I was counting on a classically Anderson color scheme and dialogue, but what I did not expect was how well he’d capture the whimsical world of Roald Dahl through a refreshing style of animation.

This is Ape Schools “Wail To God” video. I’ve never heard of them until now actually but it’s a fun song, and an insane video. I’ve never seen anything like it and i’m not too sure what’s going on, so maybe you can make your own interpretation. The last minute is kind of ridiculous, the beginning is very good though.

These headbands make me ache–mainly because I can’t buy them all. The Black Label line is pretty pricey but very fabulous, and Heart by Ban.do is a more affordable, everyday-wear option.
